Music Committee

1. To provide music and musical education for the church.

To further elaborate the above statement, the posts and responsibilities of MC are defined as follows:

Chairperson:
Responsibilities:

1. Be a Church Council Member
2. Lead MC and assist its members to reach goals planned and set by the committee
3. Call and hold MC meetings including preparing and distributing agenda and approving and distributing minutes
4. Prepare annual budget and keep financial record
5. Coordinate the cleaning and tuning of the church's musical instruments, such as piano, if necessary
6. Be in charge of MC related public relation.

Secretary:
Responsibilities:

1. Record and prepare minutes for MC meetings
2. Manage and keep MC related documents
3. Coordinate and plan monthly special music for Sunday worship
4. Assist planning and participate in all activities held by MC.

Choir Coordinators:
Responsibilities:

1. Choir Members
   • Update, prepare and distribute semi-annual members' directory
   • Record attendance of members for all choir practices and presentation
   • Care about members who are absent and their situation
   • Coordinate orientation for new members including voice testing by Choir Director
   • Update members' news
2. Music/Song Collection and Choir Robes
   • Assist the preparation of music/song notes/sheets/books
   • Manage and/or store all music/song collection and folders
   • Prepare and distribute choir schedule
   • Arrangement of robe for new member
   • Coordinate the cleaning, repair or replacement of robes
3. Clean up after each choir practice
4. Prepare and update qualification, regulation and rules for choir members
5. Plan, prepare and participate in all activities held or sponsored by MC, such as choir retreat or picnic
6. Pay attention to all choir related matters and make appropriate suggestions to MC if necessary.
