1981	January	Formed; Cantonese-speaking worship only.
1982	Spring	Cantonese-English worship.

1989	July 11	Incorporated as a nonprofit corporation (religious) in the State of Texas and exempted from state franchise tax.
1989	July 31	Qualified for sales tax exemption as a religious organization determined by Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
1990	April 22	Constituted under the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).
1992	April	Separated concurrent Cantonese and English worships. Joint worship first Sunday of every month for Communion.
1993	January	Acquired 11.7 acres of land in Stafford, Texas.
1995	April	Fifth Anniversary Special Issue.
1995	July 28-30	First Chinese-English "Experiencing God Weekend" held.
1995	August 1	First Home Page presented in the World-Wide Web: http://www.wp.com/Jackson_Leung/swcbc.html.
1995	October 29	SWCBC Church Bonds sale kick-off.
1995	November 19	Phase I Church Building Ground-Breaking Ceremony.

1995	December 28	Phase I Church Building Permit issued by the City of Stafford.
1995	December 29	Building Construction started.

1996	September 1	First worship/baptismal/Lord's supper services held in the new church building.

1997	February 14	Religious Organization Property Tax Exemption on the Phase I Church Building granted by the Fort Bend Central Appraisal District.
1997	March	Phase I Church Building Dedication Special Issue.
1997	May 8	Assumed Name SWCBC filed in Harris County, Texas.
1997	May 13	Assumed Name SWCBC filed in Fort Bend County, Texas.
1997	June 18	Assumed Name SWCBC filed in the State of Texas.
1997	September 19	First Awana Clubs kick-off.

1998	August 11	Phase I Church Extension Building Permit issued by the City of Stafford.
1998	December 6	Ordination of first Board of Deacons.
1999	March 21	Phase I Church Extension Building Dedication Service.
2001	December 16	Ordination of first SWCBC Ministerial Staff.

2004	January 5	Phase II-A Church Building - Family Life Center Permit issued by the City of Stafford.
2004	February 29	Family Life Center (FLC) Building Ground-Breaking Ceremony.
2004	March 9	FLC Construction started.
2004	September 7	FLC Certificate of Occupancy issued by the City of Stafford.
2004	November 5	FLC substantially completion walk-thru.

2005	January 26	Notice of Substantial Compliance to the Texas Accessibility Standards for FLC issued by the State of Texas.
